It was pointed out to me recently by Joost De-Lijser (who i met in #313 on efnet in the mid 90s) that Synaesthetics is most likely Detroit techno's most southern outpost (as one might say - maybe you had to be there. Anyway it brought a bit of a smile to my face, and reminded me of some great times- probably reflected in last weeks' very early-90s detroit techno flavoured show.
There's a good chance this week will be in a similar vein.
Hobart doesn't have much of a techno scene from what i can tell (and no, i haven't really been looking hard, but there are no good techno clubs or record stores that i am aware of, which is a pretty good indicator) so it's always nice to hear that you're listening.
At least the occasional complaint would be good - i do get pretty rambunctious occasionally (certainly did last week)
